The Red Poppy
Dear diary
At first, I was frightened and had one option to get out of the deep trench and force myself towards the enemies. This was a brave moment for me as it was between life and death. Our strategy to move places was to march in the dark so no germans can attack us. As we marched passed the old houses that had been blown to pieces by big guns and there were dead horses in the field.

Jed, I want to keep reading this piece of writing, I wonder if you could write a little bit more as this is a great start and it would be good to read on. "This was a great moment for me as it was between life and death" is a very emotive and descriptive statement. Keep it up and I look forward to seeing more writing from you.
